Bridging the care gap in the West Kootenays
When TMVC Castlegar closed during COVID-19, our community was left with significant gaps in travel health care. Marnie Endersby created Elara Travel Clinic to restore convenient, local access for West Kootenay residents. The name Elara blends the names of Marnie’s daughters, signifies one of Jupiter’s moons, and translates to 'light'—a guiding beacon for healthy journeys around the globe.

Marnie brings over ten years of specialized experience administering travel consults and immunizations in Kelowna. Working closely alongside a collaborative remote Nurse Practitioner of seven years, we deliver a true one-stop clinic. We issue travel prescriptions faxed directly to your pharmacy, provide TB skin testing for students no longer served by Public Health, and care for travellers of every age, including children four and under.
